Andrew Merrick, PA-C

Andrew Merrick is a physician assistant with a background in family medicine, emergency medicine and cardiology. He became interested in orthopedics after playing sports for many years and developing an interest in how injuries are treated.
Andrew works closely with AFOC’s physicians to help patients recover from their injuries or conditions, regain their mobility and restore their function. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Andrew served in the U.S. Navy and worked as an auxiliary firefighter, EMT and medical assistant before pursuing his goal of becoming a physician assistant.
Originally from Southeast Alaska, Andrew received his undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of Washington in Seattle. He then completed MEDEX Northwest, the University of Washington’s physician assistant training program.
Andrew is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and boating on the Prince William Sound.
