Ian K. Brimhall, DO
Dr. Ian Brimhall is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in custom total knee replacement and unicompartmental knee replacement, minimally invasive total hip replacement, advanced arthroscopic surgery for the shoulder and knee, general procedure for hand and elbow, and traumatology and fracture care.
Dr. Brimhall graduated with honors from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 and attended a five-year Orthopedic Surgery residency in Detroit, Michigan, at Henry Ford Hospital.
During his residency, he also focused on total joints and sports medicine along with additional training in traumatology at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
From 2008 to 2022, Dr. Brimhall was chief surgeon for Arizona Mountain Orthopedics and served on the Board of Directors for the Sunrise Ambulatory Surgical Center.
He was also Chief of Surgery for five years at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center, with 13 years on their Credentialing Committee.
Dr. Brimhall enjoys taking an active role in his community as a coach, team physician and founder of charitable organizations which focus on wellness, rehabilitation, and education.
He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying ranching, hunting, downhill skiing, wakeboarding, horseback riding and fishing. He also loves basketball, weightlifting and nutritional fitness.
Dr. Brimhall is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Osteopathic Orthopedic Surgeons.
