“Dr. Brown and his staff have been absolutely phenomenal! My son had a traumatic fall and broke his forearm pretty bad. I really appreciated how quickly we were seen after the ER, but also how much better we were treated versus the ER. It really felt that Dr. Brown sincerely cared about every single step that my child took through his journey of healing.”

What Is Fellowship Training?
Fellowship training is the highest level of specialty training for physicians. It means your child is treated by a surgeon who fully understands the unique needs of growing bones and joints.
Our Pediatric Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic
At our walk-in clinic, we treat young patients who have urgent orthopedic or sports-related injuries occurring within the past few days that do not need the services of an emergency department. This includes broken bones, strains, sprains, casting, bracing and x-ray services.
Our walk-in clinic is the only one in Alaska supported by a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon. We are staffed at all times by providers with expertise in pediatric orthopedic care.
