Alaska Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic (formerly Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic) also has a convenient walk-in clinic, where we see both adults and children. (In fact, our pediatric orthopedic walk-in clinic is the only one in Alaska supported by a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon. Fellowship training is the highest level of specialty training for physicians.)

At our walk-in clinic, you don’t need an appointment, and you will be seen the same day by a doctor or physician assistant. This allows access to the clinic’s wide range of services and advanced, in-house diagnostics. You get an accurate diagnosis, which means the right treatment at the right time.

Physical Therapy

Our walk-in clinic treats medical conditions that need immediate attention, but are not life-threatening. Extreme orthopedic injuries, such as open fractures, deep lacerations, head trauma, excessive bleeding, or conditions coupled with life-threatening symptoms are more effectively treated in the emergency room. We also do not see spine issues at our walk-in clinic. (Not sure whether you should go to the ER or our walk-in clinic? Find out here.)
