Jennifer Fayette, PA-C – COMING SOON!

Jennifer Fayette is a certified physician assistant with a strong background in orthopedics, including complex shoulder and elbow joint replacements, sports medicine, orthopedic trauma and knee arthroplasty. Jennifer will work closely with Dr. Douglas Prevost.

Originally from Girdwood, Jennifer graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX Anchorage Physician Assistant program in 2014. Before becoming a certified physician assistant, she worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation at Providence Hospital and as a civilian federal employee with the United States Air Force in Okinawa, Japan, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

During her time supporting service members overseas, Jennifer completed a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership and taught high school science, health, and human anatomy. Her dedication to lifelong learning has continued throughout her career, including completing advanced microvascular training at the Mayo Clinic.

Jennifer’s decision to pursue orthopedics came naturally. With a background as an endurance cross-country skier and exercise physiologist, she has a deep understanding of human movement, injury prevention, and recovery. Jennifer became an orthopedic physician assistant to help patients regain their mobility and quality of life, and she takes great pride in supporting people as they return to the activities they love.

Outside of work, Jennifer is passionate about advocating for the PA profession and improving access to care for all Alaskans. She also enjoys spending time outdoors year-round — nordic and alpine skiing in the winter, and fishing, hiking, biking, and camping in the summer. She frequently explores the mountains with her adventure pup, Neacola, by her side.
